Mateys, I want to be super-transparent about what it is I do, so let me break it down for you.
(1.) When you work with me, you're paying for a digital file. I do my very best to make sure it's a file that will print splendidly. I usually recommend mass printers for your printing needs; sometimes their printing is wonky. Lots of people also have success with their own computer printers. This all said, because it's out of my hands, I cannot guarantee that the awesome design I make for you will print just as awesomely. I can tell you that the likelihood is pretty good, but there are no guarantees on that.
(2.) Because of this, there are no refunds. YES, I want you to be deliriously happy with your product! This is why, the entire time I'm designing for you, you tell me what you like or don't like; what needs to change or not change. If it's just not working out between us, no problem--I don't ask for full payment until you approve the final digital design. This makes me pretty confident that I've designed exactly what you wanted.
(3.) Should you love your design and not like the printed product, relax--I'm willing to help you out. I'm willing to tweak your design if possible to make things larger or smaller; lighter or darker. I will do everything in my power to make it work for you, and that time is free of charge.
Ships Ahoy is all about paper ships, but unfortunately I'm not a printer, and I can't absolutely guarantee that what I create is going to print well (especially from mass printers). That said, you're paying for a design that YOU sign off on every step of the way, and I do my best to ensure that it comes out on paper as we'd hoped.
