[Your Name Here] in Booking the Job, Paper Ships, Your Roadmap

Out of all my ships, I LOVE postcards most of all. Why? Because they always convey a message that is active, exciting, and indicative of me moving along in my career.

"But Jen!" (you might say), "I don't know what to send postcards ABOUT!"

We all hear from casting directors, "Postcards are great, let me know when you're in a show or on TV." So what's that, one postcard? Oh no, friends. You'll be surprised at the versatility just ONE job can get you.

For the process of ONE job alone (let's say TV co-star), here are all the news postcards you can send:

-Was called back for this role!
-Was put on hold for this role!
-BOOKED this role!
-Just filmed this role opposite Meryl Streep--had an amazing time!
-HEY! Here's when my episode's airing!
-My episode was nominated for an Emmy!
-My episode just started streaming on Netflix!

See what I mean?! That's a WHOLE lotta news mileage for just one job. Didn't get the job? Here are some more postcards you can send:

-Just started working with new representation
-Just updated your website (new resume, new reel, new media?)
-Just took classes
-Learned a new valuable skill ('I just learned to juggle!')
-Callbacks and being on hold for projects (maybe you didn't book, but it shows they loved you!)

Why, just LOOK at all those postcards you can send! Better get on the stick! ;)

Ahoy Mateys,

Jen
